This is the very best drill kit owned in 43 year's as an electrician.(I've only had it a week!). I needed this new bit of kit, the rep said it would see me to my grave!(charming!)
I thought my Bosch GBH 24VE SDS kit, bought in 2005, was the dog's privates but does'nt chisel. The 36V, bought for £379 plus VAT at the trade sales day 24th April already has aquired the obligatory dusty appearance. Used it first time Wednesday on kitchen refit, upset the kitchen fitter with drilling, hammering & chasing, (he had to get his own ear defenders)(I was alright Jack, had mine on). The carpenteers wanted to borrow it Saturday to fix down the floor plate! (I did for them, don't trust those wood butchers!),(it cost them a pint, why can't they get their own drill?). Trish was so impressed with the drilling & chiselling (& Paul & Dom's singing), she went shopping for the tiles & left us to it! I even got to offer for sale my 5year old Bosch SDS to Linda & Antje but it is too heavy to lift let alone to get it up, and I left the battery off! The new 36V feels no heavier than my outgoing Bosch 24V SDS, the 36V LI batteries lasted two days work & of course it chisels! Graham is going to service it, dust it down, change brushes, polish the case etc. (any buyers out there?). Greg the toolman.
