Red Lithium-ion Batteries

Milwaukee's revolutionary new Red Lithium-Ion chemistry within the cell has less electrical resistance than other chemistries, allowing significantly improved transfer of power. This means less voltage drop during application - so faster speeds and higher torque under load. This chemistry in turn delivers improved performance of up to 40% more run time, 20% more speed and torque, and fade free power. It also can operate down to 0°F/-18°C, runs 20% cooler at all times, can take up to 50% more recharges and has no memory effect

This Compact lightweight tool weighs only 960 grams including the battery with a speed of 500 rpm and a maximum torque of 19 Nm, it can screw in up to 120 screws measuring 5 x 60 mm with each battery charge. Developed according to the special demands of professional users for compact and powerful machines. In addition to a longer battery service life and a longer battery running time, users were especially interested in ergonomic aspects such as a light weight, a compact design and ease of handling. 

The ¼" Hex of the Milwaukee C12 D permits one-handed changing of drill or screwing bits with an E6.3 hexagonal profile. A built-in LED also enables the user to work precisely in dark or unlit places. When inn use the battery display permanently shows the remaining battery charge. Thanks to a variable motor drive, the craftsman has full control over the utilized screwing force. The stable motor casing made of metal protects the motor against damage. The Milwaukee C12 D is sold with two 12 Volt batteries, a charger and a tool bag.
