For Panasonics highest performance a new level of battery capacity has been introduced with a range of features ensuring Panasonic battery packs are tough and long-lasting. The new S-type battery pack 14.4V and 18V with 4.2Ah allows maximum endurance per charge.

- Individual monitoring of battery cell voltage

- Each 3.6V segment is monitored by a sensor to ensure optimal discharge control, preventing both overcharging and overdischarging of the battery.

- Battery Overheat Protection Sensor (OPS)

- A temperature sensor cuts off power to the motor before the battery temperature rises to a harmful level adn flashes a warning lamp on the tool's control panel to notify the user.
