This new addition to Scheppach's range of BASATO bandsaws will not disappoint. A whisper quiet 1500W induction motor offers two speeds, 800 and 1200m/min for fine, clean cutting. With its cutting capacity of 250mm and a throat depth of 375mm, this bandsaw has the extra capacity for larger projects yet still offers enough control for smaller, more delicate work. The blade guidance system features three industrial grade bearings at the top and the bottom for precise cutting without wandering. Accepting up to a 30mm wide blade for large ripping applications, this bandsaw features a quick release blade system for rapid blade change. The included rip fence features an extremely strong cam clamp and runs on a rail which is longer than the table. This allows the fence to be locked off away from the table, and still remain accurate, for larger capacity cuts. Featured on the rail is a measuring scale and an in built magnifier on the fence allows for precise setting. The 548 x 400mm cast iron table is precision ground for flatness and has an impressive -17 to +45 degree tilt range which can be set accurately. This bandsaw comes complete with blade, rip fence, mitre fence, cabinet base with storage and wheels.
