The HMS 1070is a combinationplaner and thicknesser designed for the woodworker with limited space, or who is looking for a machine which is easily transportable and does not want to compramize on performance or finish. The steel construction, machined cast alloy tables and powerful 1,500 watt motor combine to make this an extremely well built machine which gives perfectly planed surfaces to all types of wood. The surface planer has 1020mm long tables and a sturdy planing fence which offers excellent support when planing the wood at right angles; or alternatively can be angled over to 45 degrees for planing bevelled edges. The thicknesser operation has an adjustment handwheel which allows for 254mm wide timbers to be accurately planed anywhere from between 2,0mm up to a maximum thickness of 120mm. Designed for the smaller workshop or jobbing tradesman, the Scheppach is a perfect scaled down version of a full sized planer/thicknessing machine offering exceptional performance at an incredible low price.
