The Makita 2012NB Thicknesser is a lightweight and compact machine allowing for easy transporting to the job-site or simple set up and storage in the workshop. The 2012NB thicknessers have one of the fastest and easiest blade change system using disposible double edge blades.

They are one of the quietest planers in class and the 4 post design and diagonal cross supports offer stability. The large table extensions to support the workpiece with fully adjustable with depth stop for repeat cutting.

The LED light indicates that the Makita 2012NB planer is plugged into the power source and the large and easy to operate paddle on/off switch makes it easy and safe to operate.

An easily adjustable cutting depth gives the trade precision planing plus detachable tool box for storage of the machines standard equipment. For Dust and Chip Extraction there is an optional dust hood enabling a collection system to be connected to the machine.
