The DUR181 string trimmer has been developed as a lightweight 260mm (10-1/4 inch) Cordless grass trimmer, powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery. Featuring a well balanced tool design with angle adjustable cutting head for home gardening.

• Well balanced tool design - The battery position is located under the main handle, exactly at the place that plays a role of pivot point when the tool is swung like a pendulum for grass cutting. The battery is therefore not swung around to minimize user’s fatigue
• Easy to change spool assembly - Nylon cord can be fed from the spool by bumping the bump feed button against the ground
• 5 position adjustable pivoting head enables user to adjust cutting angle, allowing for trimming in tight spaces
• Battery capacity warning lamp alerts the user when the battery is running low or empty
• Adjustable loop-handle can be adjusted according to user's height and working posture
• Spool assembly is easy to attach and remove, also easy to rewind. It comes equipped with a metal bump feed button for wear resistance

The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing.
