The double sided 8mm thick 70mm x 200mm metal stone is electroplated with monocrystalline diamond in two grits, 400G Coarse & 1000G Fine, each can be easily accessed by simply releasing the stone from the docking station and turning it over.

The docking station is constructed using 3 solid, non-slip rubber pads and robust steel rods which are fitted with easy grip screw nuts for precise and firm fixing of the stone – and is adjustable to accept stones from 135 to 216mm in length, with a 6mm deep recess to provide a secure and firm base for all sharpening operations.

Supplied with a handy 400 and 600 grit whetstone in a storage case that unfolds to form a handle, the case protects the diamond stone and allows it to be kept in a pocket ready for use – to quickly restore a sharp edge to any blunt tool.

Suitable for general purpose sharpening of knives, scissors, chisels, plane blades, cutting blades etc., the diamond stones may be used dry or with water as a lubricant to sharpen carbon steel, HSS and tungsten carbide tools, abrade glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain.
