The 18 volt cordless tools from Panasonic features 3.3ah (3.5ah nominal) batteries for an extended runtime. Featuring cobalt lithium ion technology ensures they stay cooler therefore extending the life of the batteries. The batteries also have 3 types of protection built in. Each cell has an overload sensor and protector. There is an undercharge protector to ensure the battery never discharges fully. There is also an overheat protector to ensure the battery doesn't get too hot.- IP56 rated for dust and water ingress protection
