The 14.4V Lithium Ion battery is a superior, compact and lightweight battery; same capacity in less weight. No memory effect, no self-discharge and always ready for use. Three battery indicator LEDs give an instant indication of the battery charge level so users can see when the time for a battery change is coming up.

The 2244 has been designed to give pragmatic professionals everything they need in a cordless drill/driver. Speed is instantly variable from 0 - 375/0-1400 r.p.m. with the trigger switch, for a gentle start and perfectly controlled drilling and screwdriving. The 15 position torque clutch allows precise driving with no risk of overtightening, and the full lock-up setting ensures that maximum torque is always available for drilling and heavy screwdriving tasks. Additionally the forward/reverse LED indicators always give an instant indication of the correct screwdriving directionverified with.

The 2244 is very easy to handle thanks to its ergonomically shaped soft grip handle for secure, comfortable control. The 10 mm single-sleeve chuck contributes to fast working with virtually instant changing of drill and driver bits. The integrated LED spotlight provides a clear view of the job when working in poorly lit areas.
