Here at Anglia Tool Centre we stock a variety of DAB & Bluetooth radios. Having both of these functions gives you the best of both worlds when choosing what to listen to on the job.

Makita recently joined a number of big brands in releasing their first DAB & Bluetooth radio – which we reviewed here – joining the likes of Festool, Makita and Hikoki. We take a look at their respective radios and the features they have to offer. Firstly, however, what are the main benefits of DAB & Bluetooth connectivity?

DAB & Bluetooth radios – benefits

Though well documented by now, it is still worth mentioning that DAB gives you a greater choice of stations. From BBC talk shows to commercial radio music channels and everything in between, you will always be spoilt for choice with DAB radio.

Add Bluetooth to the mix and depth goes up another notch. Connecting your mobile device to the radio gives you ability to customise your playlists and podcasts to your heart’s content. There are even some brand-specific apps designed to enhance your listening experience.
