Made from one solid forged piece of steel, the blades are lacquered for rust protection and can be sharpened down to the last 25mm / 1in of the blade.
The handles are �splitproof, which helps with vibration and can withstand repeated blows from a hammer.
The set is supplied in a wooden presentation box.
Also included with this set it is a genuine Record No.4 smoothing plane.
It is made from high quality cast grey iron and has a precision machined base.
