The Basato impresses on the outside with its innovative design and on the inside with practice-oriented technology: The two blade wheels mounted on ball bearings in the closed, sturdy housing and the exact blade guidance enable smooth running of the saw blade. The blade is tensioned very simply by hand. To change the blade, just fold away the guide tube and open the housing cover to access the blade wheels. A gas-filled spring holds the cover open, and a limit switch then interrupts the power supply, making it impossible for the machine to start up. The saw blade is safely covered outside the working area with a fixed guard.
