The Makita DUB189RT soft starting line trimmer has a brushless motor, with automatic torque drive technology. The RPM is automatically shifted between 4000-600/min according to the density of the weeds, this allows for better energy saving and lower noise levels. You can adjust the length of the bending pipe shaft, it also has overload protection, constant speed control with an electric brake.

The speed indicator on the control panel shows 3 RPM levels, plus status of overload and over-discharge. Reverse switch for grass clipping removal and a foldable wire guard which reduces risk of damaging fences, flowers and garden ornaments.
