The new Scheppach planer thicknessers feature heavy duty, precision machined cast iron tables. These grey iron castings are hard wearing and they add to the machines stability and help minimise vibration.

A solid compact combined planer&thicknesser with some unique features -
- rubber covered twin feed rollers that pull the timber through the two knife cutter block.
- This system totally eliminates every trace of indentation marks on the timber.
- the possibility of adjusting the thickness table to within 0.1 mm , a very fine finishing cut is possible even on wild grain timbers.
- Short centre distance between feed rollers (close to the cutter block) pieces as small as 100mm in length can be planed.
- substantial tiltable fence can be tilted through 45 degrees and adjusted across the bed so you can make most use of the width of the planing knives.
- machine is mounted on height adjustable rubber feet which guarantee vibration free operation
- changing over from planing to thicknessing is easy ..just remove the rear table and engage the integral extraction hood.
